Wir sind super empfangen worden von Paola und Nello, die uns alles gezeigt haben und sehr um unser Wohl bemüht waren - echt toll. Die Besitzer, Pina und Horst, die ein paar Tage später angereist sind, haben uns gleich zum Essen eingeladen, an Unternehmungen beteiligt, was wir so noch nie erlebt haben - einfach eine super Gastfreundschaft !!! Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, man hat viel Platz und ist gut ausgestattet. Paola hat für uns an einem Abend ein 3-Gänge-Menu gezaubert vom Feinsten (Auswahl aus versch. Menus) zu einem super Preis. Es hat uns rundum sehr gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Grazie mille, Gaby & Wulf

Horst & Pina are the best hosts you could wish for and the location is simply amazing! Wow what an amazing stay we had here. If you like peace and quiet, a pool with a stunning view of the mountains, a nice and cozy appartment and very friendly and welcoming hosts? Look no further :) The location is very remote, the. closest town about 25 minute walk. A friend of the family cooks at the appartment if you like though. It was simply amazing. Better than most restaurants and a very fair price. Horst & Pina are always available for questions and information. We even had an amazing quad tour with Horst, again at a very fair price. Thanks again for the best stay!

Casa Masella at Buscemi
Beautiful location on a hillside with views across the surrounding hills. There are only two small cottages so a quiet and relaxing stay is almost guaranteed. The quality of the accommodation is good, both inside and outside the property with plenty of seating and shade. The pool is excellent and in a great position to enjoy the surrounding views.
This is a good centre for getting to many beautiful towns and villages in this area of Sicily, with stunning baroque architecture and ancient Grecian temples.

Die Lage ist fantastisch am Rand von Buscemi mit weitem Blick über Hänge ins Tal. Die Appartements sind durch die Erhaltung des alten Gemäuers sehr angenehm. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, die Anlage drumherum sehr schön gestaltet. Um die Unterkunft zu erreichen benötigt man unbedingt ein Auto. Buscemi bietet alle notwendigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und schöne Bars/Cafés, um guten Espresso zu genießen.

Super schön gelegene Unterkunft. Die Verwalter Nello und Paola waren unglaublich nett. Die zwei Apartments liegen ein wenig außerhalb in einem Olivenhain. Ohne Auto geht hier nichts! Herrlich entspannend. Wunderschöner Pool. Ein supertoller Urlaub.

Stunning Views !!
Such a beautiful place to stay. Nello was fantastic bringing fresh eggs and vegetables every morning for us from the chickens above, and even some of his own wine from Etna. The views are amazing from sitting outside the villa to the views from the pool. Felt so relaxed staying here. Nice and modern inside, everything we needed was provided. Thank You! Perfect Holiday. :)

Super endroit!!!!!
Séjour au calme dans ce gîte conforme aux photos. Super accueil! La vue est splendide! Aucun bruit sauf celui des oiseaux et des cigales. Il y a toujours de l'air vu que c'est dans la montagne. Le petit village de Buscemi est à 3 min en voiture. C'est très typique et charmant, vous y trouverez boulangerie, boucherie et épicerie. Les propriétaires ont rénovés l'endroit avec gout, tout est neuf. Ils sont d'ailleurs très charmants et à disposition pour répondre à vos questions. Merci pour ce séjour!

“We spent our honeymoon at Giuseppina & Horst's lovely apartment which is set in beautiful olive groves on a hill top near the small town of Buscemi. The area is very rural with nature literally on the doorstep. One morning we awoke to a visit from a very interested pack of horses on the patio which was amazing. We were well looked after by Nello & his wife Paola who care for the apartment while the hosts are away. Paola cooked us a delicious dinner & was very sweet & excited that we were on our honeymoon. Thank you to Nello who bought us wonderful fruits, nuts, vegetables & herbs from the garden everyday. The converted stone building has been made into three apartments & we were lucky enough to have the central apartment & the others were unoccupied during our visit. Everything in our studio was very new, clean & well designed. There is a lovely pool, terrace & impressive views across the olive groves. Buscemi, the small town near by has huge charm & some useful & very affordable shops. It was all very quiet when we visited which suited us but the apartment provides a perfect base to explore some beautiful towns such as Notto, Syracuse, Caltagirone amongst many that are within a shortish drive away. The architecture is incredible, the food wonderful & a visit to this part of Sicily is good for the soul. We hope to return to this very special place.”
